Enter the PIN on the phone and the same on the PC when prompted. Switch to “ paired devices” tab on the Bluetooth applet in the phone, select Options->new paired device. If you have not yet paired up your phone with the Bluetooth dongle, do it now. ( Menu key->Connectivity->Bluetooth on the phone). Switch on the Bluetooth on your mobile, and set it in the “ Discoverable” mode. Alternatively, you can initiate the pairing from the phone. You will have to choose a PIN number, enter it both on the PC and on the phone. If you don't already see your phone there, Click “ Add device” and a wizard will guide you through the process of setting up your device for use with the PC. In the dialog that pops up, select the Devices tab.
If the Bluetooth icon is not visible on your tray, Go to control panel, select Bluetooth Devices. Right click on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray and select “ Open Bluetooth settings”.(See screenshot) You can do this from your PC, or from your phone. So I strongly suggest that you remove the WIDCOMM drivers and use the XP Sp2 Bluetooth stack instead. When I tried with WIDCOMM, I was unable to connect to the PC from the phone every time.
